PP-2 Semi-Automatic Parking System
Developed by MaxPark, PP-2 is a two-level parking solution designed to increase parking capacity within a limited footprint. Its automated platform positioning system combines horizontal movement on the entrance level with vertical movement on the upper level.

Operation and installation
The entrance level contains one fewer platform than the upper level, leaving an open bay for repositioning. Users can request a parking space by presenting an access card or entering a code. The system then arranges the platforms automatically to bring the selected space to ground level. When retrieving a vehicle from the upper tier, the lower platforms slide sideways to clear the bay beneath it, allowing the requested platform to descend.
PP-2 makes efficient use of available space by accommodating vehicles on two levels. Depending on the configuration, the system provides capacity for 5 to 29 cars. A clear driving aisle must extend across the entire front of the installation so that every entrance-level bay remains accessible.
For additional security, the entrance level can be fitted with access doors that remain locked while the platforms are moving and open only after the positioning cycle is complete. This controlled access helps protect parked vehicles against theft and vandalism.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is PP-2 suitable for outdoor installation?
Yes. The structure features a protective zinc coating for improved resistance to moisture and outdoor conditions. Additional covers can also be fitted to provide protection against rain, snow, and strong winds.
2. Can PP-2 accommodate SUVs?
Yes. PP-2 can be configured to suit SUV parking requirements. Contact the MaxPark sales team to confirm the appropriate specifications for your vehicles.
3. What power supply does the system require?
The standard electrical supply is 380 V, three-phase. Alternative voltage configurations may be available upon request to suit local power requirements.
4. Does PP-2 work during a power outage?
The system requires electricity to move the platforms and cannot operate without a power supply. For locations with frequent outages, a backup generator is required to maintain operation.
5. Can customers carry out the installation themselves?
Customer installation is possible. However, for teams without previous experience installing PP-2, MaxPark recommends having one of its engineers supervise and guide the installation process.
